Cerebra Foundation for Brain Injured Children

UK-based organization coordinates an international parent network (PARNET), for support, information, and research. Information Unit provides information to anyone concerned with brain injury (medical, educational, legal, therapeutic, etc.)

Safe Kids USA

Global network of organizations whose mission is to prevent accidental childhood injury, a leading killer of children 14 and under. More than 450 coalitions in 16 countries bring together health and safety experts, educators, corporations, foundations, governments and volunteers to educate and protect families.  Programs include media events, device distribution and hands-on educational activities for kids and their families with the goal of increasing communities' involvement in children's safety.  Site offers a number of safety tips and checklists for prevention.
